Virtual coins, no cash value

The demo allows you to explore the game mechanics without financial risk. However, always remember that gambling products may vary by region, and you should check the specific terms applicable to users in Ireland before engaging further.

Four disjoint quadrants

Choose 4, 5 or 6 hazards on a 4×4 board. Divide it into four disjoint 2×2 quadrants: top-left, top-right, bottom-left and bottom-right. Each quadrant contains at least one hazard. This rule does not apply to all overlapping 2×2 squares. All 256, 1536 or 4480 legal layouts respectively are equally likely. One layout stays fixed throughout the round.

What Irish Players Should Check

When using GamGam from Ireland, it is important to verify how the platform operates locally. First, confirm the currency displayed. While many international sites use USD, you should check if GamGam supports the euro (EUR) for its virtual coin balances or any potential future real-money options.

Next, investigate the payment methods available. In Ireland, common methods include debit cards and bank transfers. You must check with GamGam directly to see if these specific options are supported for transactions or balance top-ups, as this is not guaranteed. Additionally, verify the regulatory status. The Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland oversees the market, so check if GamGam holds a valid licence from this authority or operates under a different jurisdiction. Finally, ensure you are of legal age and practice responsible play.

  • Check if EUR is the primary currency for your account.
  • Verify support for Irish debit cards and bank transfers.
  • Confirm regulation by the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland.

Exact conditional value

Live value starts at 0.97 times the virtual stake. A safe reveal divides it by that cell’s exact conditional safe probability among the remaining compatible legal layouts. A hazard ends the round with zero return. Reveals change knowledge, not the hidden layout.

A four-hazard example

With 4 hazards there is exactly one hazard in each quadrant. Every cell initially has safe probability 3/4. A safe first choice changes a 20-coin stake’s value to 20×0.97/(3/4), about 25.867 coins. Within that quadrant the next unrevealed cell has safe probability 2/3; another quadrant still has 3/4. Revealing three safe cells in one quadrant proves its fourth cell hazardous.

Collect and unavailable choices

Collect is available after a safe reveal. Proven hazards are unavailable; proven-safe cells have probability 1 and add no value. A choice with next value above 1000 times stake is unavailable. When no eligible uncertain choice remains, the current value is banked automatically. The guard is not a promise that 1000×stake can be reached.

Wallet and restoring balance

Settled balance and fractional payout carry persist in localStorage. Reloading during a round ends it without refunding its already deducted stake. Outside a round, refill restores 1000 coins when balance is below the smallest stake; it does not add 1000 or reset fractional carry. Hazard count, stake and refill are locked during play.
